The Tyndall Thrift Shop is a non-profit organization and is governed by the Tyndall Spouses Club Board of Directors. We sell donated items for the purpose of providing funds to assist base organizations and the surrounding community, as well as provide scholarships.

Charitable Applications
On average the TSC provides over $30,000 in college scholarships and donations to local and national organizations that enrich the lives of our military families. Would your organization, unit or team like to apply for financial support for a special project or function? Please submit your completed form to our Charitable Chairperson at tyndall.charitable@gmail.com.
Please submit your request no later than the 15th of each month. Charitable requests are not considered after an event or charitable need has passed. All requests submitted to the Charitable Committee past this deadline will not be considered until the following month’s scheduled Charitable Committee Meeting. Requests received after May 15th will not be considered until August 1st.

Dorm Bag Drive
Providing dorm bags for incoming Airmen is one of the Tyndall Spouses Club’s most treasured charitable programs. The bags provide our Airmen with some basic necessities when they first arrive on base. This program has received positive feedback not only from the Airmen, but also from the wider Tyndall community. Serving our community is where the heart of the TSC lies, and we are happy to be able to continue this program with your donations and support!
If you would like to donate to our supplies, please follow the link to our wish list and directly mail the items to the club. Labeled donations are accepted at the Tyndall Thrift Shop.
We strive for each bag to include:

paper towel (1 roll)

toilet paper (1 roll)

single serving non-perishable microwave meal such as mac-n-cheese, ramen cups, etc. (1 meal)

fruit cup (1)

granola or protein bars (2 bars)

savory snacks such as nuts or jerky (2 snacks)

bottled water (2 12 oz bottle)

plastic silverware (2 sets)

Washcloth / Handtowel / Bath Towel (1 each)

Trashcan (1 1.5 Gallon Can)

Energy Drink (1)

Kitchen Sponge (1)

Small Bottle Dish Soap (1 3 oz bottle)

Single dose acetaminophen, ibuprofen, and antacid packets; bandaids
We also collect laundry detergent pods and dryer sheets that are not part of the bag, but are available to the Airmen. These can be donated in their original packaging.

We love giving back to our local community! Check back monthly to see which organization we are currently supporting. Donations are accepted at all TSC Socials, Small Group Events, or at the Tyndall Thrift Shop!
